Microsoft has outlined its plans for Xbox at Gamescom, which include theater presentation for Starfield: Shattered Space. However, there may be other big announcements for Bethesda’s space-faring RPG. Leaker Odahfield revealed on Twitter that its release date will allegedly be announced on August 20th – the same date as Gamescom Opening Night Live.
The expansion will reportedly launch sometime in September, but that’s not all. The “next grand adventure” in the game’s universe, Starborn, will allegedly launch in “2025+”. Little is known about Starborn outside of its recent trademark, but it may be the game’s next expansion.
Before Shattered Space arrives, a new update will reportedly go live in August, adding the game’s first planetary vehicle. Odahfield provided an alleged image for the same last week, which seemingly offers closed and open-air variants.
Though the leaker incorrectly touted release date announcement for Shattered Space at June’s Xbox Games Showcase, they correctly reported on the Creation Club’s addition and details on future updates. For now, we’ll need to wait for more later this month.
Starfield is available for Xbox Series X/S and PC. Check out our review here.
