Street Fighter fans have been waiting for the series’ next mainline entry for quite some time, and the fact that Street Fighter 5 spent several years being a disappointing before finally making its recovery has only made that wait feel longer. Thankfully, the upcoming Street Fighter 6 is looking like a promising return to form for the series in all that we’ve seen of it so far, and it continues to look exciting more new gameplay.
Uploaded by Game Informer, a new gameplay video showcases two matches from the game- one with Ken taking on Ryu, and another that sees Luke trading blows with Jamie. Interestingly, it’s members of the game’s development team going head-to-head against each other in this footage, showing some pretty high level competition. Street Fighter 6 is in development for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. It was recently rated in South Korea, suggesting that a launch date could be announced soon.
