Capcom’s Street Fighter 6 was rated by South Korea’s Game Rating and Administration Committee (GRAC) last week. As discovered on xenosaga7 on Twitter, the deliberation date was November 18th. It seems to indicate that a release date announcement is imminent.

The Game Awards 2022 is on December 8th, and given the title’s presence at the Summer Game Fest showcase, it may appear. Creator and host Geoff Keighley has confirmed some 50-plus games involved “in some way.” While this doesn’t necessarily mean 50-plus trailers and world premieres, there will be a few surprises.

Street Fighter 6 is set to release in 2023 for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC. Capcom recently showcased the game’s Dynamic Controls, which performs attacks based on the face button and one’s positioning. Attacking from a distance could fire a projectile but pressing the same up close will start a combo. You can see it in action here, and learn more about the fighter here.
