A new difficulty, Forgiving, has been introduced. This is the new name for Story mode, now fitting between the former and Fair, since it offers a combat assist setting that lets you focus on the narrative. You can also look forward to improvements to the camera, animations, targeting, and traversal when using Shadowstep and Planeshift.

Players can also expect dedicated FrameGen settings to improve performance. Meanwhile, directional animal petting has been added for those who want an immersive petting experience. And perhaps best of all, subtitles will be added for all dialogue, and the font size is finally increasing.

It’s among our favorites in the Tales series, and though Reid, Farah, and Meredy might have come together by varying circumstances, the ensuing journey binds them. It’s a testament to the story’s effectiveness how you’ll get sucked in alongside them on an adventure that involves a massive conflict they have no part in but must navigate nonetheless. The rest of the cast is equally compelling, and they’re a memorable bunch once you engage with their backstories.

The good news is that the remastered visuals make that adventure much prettier, and additions like destination markers, a high-speed mode for auto-battles, and the option to turn off enemy encounters make it easier to travel the world. That’s a solid list of quality-of-life improvements that add some modern convenience to a long-standing classic. It’s honestly hard to believe that nearly two and a half decades have passed since the original.

As his name implies, Roger Jr. is the son of Roger, a boxing kangaroo who made his debut in Tekken 2. Roger Jr. came to the franchise with Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection. He’s a genetically modified kangaroo originally designed for military use but decides to join the King of Iron Fist tournament following the mysterious disappearance of his father.

Roger Jr. made his second appearance in Tekken 6, where he once more teams up with his mother to continue searching for his father. Afterwards, he was absent from the mainline games, but still appeared in the spin-off title Tekken Tag Tournament 2.

The Tekken 8 version of Roger Jr. retains much of the moveset that made him popular, blending a boxing combat style with a variety of sweeps and other spinning attacks that can only be pulled off by a kangaroo. Despite his boxing prowess, he also possesses excellent kicks.

Interestingly, the trailer for Roger Jr. also has an interaction between the character and Leroy. When the latter spots him choking Sugar the dog, they come to blows and decide to settle things with a fight.

Roger Jr. is the third character coming to Tekken 8 as part of the title’s third season following Kunimitsu and Bob. A fourth character – Yujiro Hanma from the manga/anime Baki the Grappler – is slated for release in Winter. The trailer for Roger Jr. wraps things up with the first glimpse at what Yujiro will look like in Tekken 8. True to his manga form, he showcases his dexterity, easily balancing across two blocks while doing the splits before swiftly jumping off and getting back on his feet.

In other Tekken-related news, Bandai Namco and SNK Corporation revealed a collaboration to bring Tekken 8’s Reina into Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves in December (and somehow, she’s involved with Geese)

We were quite impressed with everything it had to offer, scoring it a 9, and it looks like our fellow critics share our appreciation. A new accolades trailer is out, and those near-perfect scores are significant since this one’s PC version hasn’t been doing well and is being worked on as we speak.

However, it looks like things are getting better for those hoping to play Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War without installing Ace Combat 8. There’s nothing but hope for a title that has you feeling like the sky isn’t the limit when it all comes together. It’s an experience we were quite optimistic about even before it launched, and that assessment still stands true after spending a considerable amount of time with it.

The success follows extensive critical praise for the sequel, which currently holds an 87 Metascore based on 65 reviews. Despite a troubled Steam launch with crashes, limited flight-stick support and Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War not being playable on its own (which could change), it currently holds an 80 percent “Very Positive” rating. None of this stopped it from becoming the series’ biggest launch on the platform, peaking at over 52,000 concurrent players.

Basic Farming Tips

Don’t bother jacking up the difficulty to the maximum in order to leverage that multiplier, unless you have really mastered the game and its missions’ patterns. The additional hurdles will lose you time that would be better spent simply replaying the same mission again.

Speed of completion and rank are the preferred performance bonuses to seek and secure by the end of the mission.

Early Game MRP Farm

Mission 07: A Lifeline In The Desert is a timed mission in Faith Park Ravine, that is early enough in the campaign for you to revisit and grind out MRP. With a payout of between 60,000 and 70,000 credits per run, it will sustain you for long enough before boredom sets in, and you unlock better missions for farming without a locked-in duration.

Mid Game MRP Farm

Mission 16: Singer is set over Selatapura and is halfway through the campaign. Runs can be completed in just four minutes at most, while earning a slightly higher payout as Mission 07, or 70,000 to 80,000 MRP. That can compute to a worst case scenario of a million MRP per hour, or a maximum of ~1.3 million at best. Pay close attention to the description of the disguised container ships in order to identify and eliminate them quickly. Switch to first-person view or HUD-less in order to zoom in for enhanced visibility as you flip between targets.

Track down the enemy Ace for a bonus as well.

Late Game MRP Farm

Mission 27: Fatsia, The Ocean Fortress is set at the Megafloat Fatsia and is a return to a lengthy duration mission. However, the payout per run is significantly higher and can be a nice break from the monotony of Mission 16. At a maximum reward of 300,000 MRP for every completion, this mission will be your best bet for unlocking all the planes and parts you desire. With completion times as low as ten minutes per run, you could be raking in as much as 3 million credits per hour if you are so inclined.

Try and trigger chain destruction initially, before shifting focus to the SAMs and finally the enemy planes.

No, not the X-Men villain. The Apocalypse is a force of biomechanical alien beings who really like attacking colonies. While protagonist Rex is paired with various characters on the Stellar Vein, he appears to be the sole fighting force. Thankfully, extensive customization allows you to arm your version of Helix with all kinds of weapons.

Whether you favor a melee approach with charged attacks that tear through multiple enemies, ranged accoutrements (including a firing line of beam weapons on the ground) or crazier abilities like energy tornadoes, Rogue Orbit has you covered. You’ll need it to fight Admiral-class Apocalypse, like the Chimera.

Despite the chonky health bar, focusing on specific limbs can weaken the monster and stagger it long enough for follow-up attacks. If that’s not enough, you can unleash Trans-Am – er, Over-Rise to bolster Helix’s performance and finish off a foe with an explosive AP-Unit Burst.

The trailer doesn’t explain the passive AP-Unit functions, but the fast-paced action makes up for it. Gundam Rogue Orbit launches on March 5th, 2027, for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, so stay tuned for more details in the coming months.

That is every single Legendary-tier piece of Armor to be found in The Blood of Dawnwalker, and where to get them.

“We are currently reviewing the specific implementation details and distribution timing. We will provide a further update once additional details have been finalized, including whether this approach can ultimately be realized.” Overall, the developer still isn’t completely confident it will happen, but efforts are underway.

“We remain committed to delivering the title in a manner that meets player expectations, and we will continue working closely with all relevant partners to achieve this goal,” it concluded.

Before launch, a modern port of Ace Combat Zero was marketed as a separate title that players would receive as a free bonus for purchasing Ace Combat 8 before October 2nd. When advanced access went live, the wording was reportedly changed to reveal that this wouldn’t be the case. Naturally, many fans were left frustrated at having to download the latter, which is about 150 GB, just to play the former.

Consoles don’t suffer from this issue, and Ace Combat Zero is a standalone title (and requires roughly a fraction of Ace Combat 8’s install space). Project Aces went with this approach for PC because of “licensing restrictions and platform-related considerations.”

Regardless, Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve is still worth checking out on its own. You can read our review, where we scored it nine out of ten, for more details. Thus far, it’s been quite successful for Bandai Namco, becoming the series’ biggest launch on Steam.

Comparatively, Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown peaked at 13,758 concurrent players at launch in February 2019. And while it’s only the third-biggest Bandai Namco-published title of all time on Steam, right behind Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon (156,171) and Digimon Story: Time Stranger (84,458), Wings of Theve is far above other 2026 releases such as Echoes of Aincrad (19,901), Code Vein 2 (11,499), and more.

Also available for Xbox Series X/S and PS5, Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve focuses on the conflict between the Republic of Sotoa and the Federation of Central Usea. Players take on the legendary callsign, and though it’s revealed to be little more than a propaganda tool, their journey to defeat Sotoa and the bonds formed with Joker Flight are very real.
