We were thinking it was a little quiet on the Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves front, but the game has now announced an exciting new addition to its DLC roster: Tekken 8’s Reina.
As the quintessential enigma, she brings prodigious skill and a ruthless streak hidden away behind a cheery, light-hearted disposition. Her lightning-based fighting style will definitely shock opponents literally and figuratively, while her agility and speed make returning the favor a tough proposition. In the right hands, she could be devastating, judging by her moves in Tekken 8.
Her mysterious origins only add to her allure, and it’ll be interesting to see how she fits into the grand scheme of things in this new adventure. We’re sure she’s more than capable of carving out a corner of the city for herself (assuming she doesn’t take it over).
We’d have liked to see her bust out some of those moves in the trailer, but all we’ve got are hints of the havoc she can wreak if she sets her mind to it. Watch her square off against a worthy opponent in the trailer below as you wait for her to wander into South Town this December. Stay tuned for a proper gameplay reveal until then.
