Crazy Taxi: World Tour might be a long way off from its 2027 release, but that hasn’t stopped Sega from dropping interesting little snippets about the game from time to time.

There was that banger of a soundtrack which accompanied a look at San Francisco and the promise of other cities to come. Well, the game has now taken us to Brazil, where the streets and coastlines blend into a playground where the cabbies have places to go and a very short window to get there. The energy of its vibrant, busy streets is evident, and we can’t wait to race along the coastline, desperately trying to earn our fare, while hapless pedestrians dive out of the way. As is the Crazy Taxi tradition.

Crazy Taxi: World Tour is coming to Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, PC, and PS5. It’s the franchise’s first mainline title since 2002 and has faced backlash because of its use of generative AI. Check out some more gameplay, specifically from Pickup Race. We’re especially interested in Cops N’ Cabbies, a mode we’re sure will be a lot of fun when our pals join the fray. Stay tuned for more details on its release date in the future.
