Set after the Great Ecological Catastrophe, the story centers on a child who’s somehow immune to the post-apocalyptic Earth. Several decades later, the humans from Mars return to Earth for recon and upon spotting The Cub, attempt to capture them. Along with dodging projectiles and surviving against dangerous plants and wildlife, players must also solve environmental puzzles.

Throughout the game, Radio Nostalgia From Mars will provide music along with stories from those living on Mars. The Cub is in development for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. No release date has been announced so stay tuned for more details in the coming months.

With Donovan missing and only having therapy drone Alfie, Kai must survive in the wilderness and perhaps find out what caused the crash. As an episodic title, Arctic Awakening is focused on choices which affect both the story and your relationship with different characters. Hopefully, there are options for being nicer to Alfie.

Though you’ll explore some great-looking environments, the Arctic can be very unforgiving. Each area can feel different thanks to dynamic weather, leading to discoveries and potential threats. Will you solve the mystery, save Donovan and make it home? We’ll have to wait until Arctic Awakening launches in 2023 for consoles and PC.

Planet of Lana takes place in a world that’s under attack by an invading alien force. Lana’s sister is kidnapped in the process and so she must embark on a journey to save her. Along with various machines, including some overwhelmingly large titans, Lana and Mui will also encounter strange creatures. Some of them can be manipulated, filling a pool of water for progressing forward.

Others seemingly lurk beneath the surface while traversing the game’s gorgeous environments. Overall, the game’s scale and beauty are only looking better with each new reveal. The story centers on Eric who has no memories of recent events and must struggle against the deterioration of his mind. To survive, he must embark on a mission that involves nightmarish creatures and other ordeals. There are four different classes to choose from along with different melee weapons, firearms and spells.

Additional abilities unlock over time but you’ll also use brutal executions to take down monsters. Environments are pretty varied, ranging from graveyards and crypts to forests and mountains, further highlighting the game’s aesthetic. The premise involves a person who can’t leave their house. Finding a way out forms the core gameplay loop and it promises a “dynamic narrative environment” along with “environmental and sensory horror.” Various phobias like claustrophobia, agoraphobia, monophobia and more are also explored.

As with P.T., the hallways and rooms change in many different ways, and there’s a strange presence roaming the environment. The door opening at the end of the trailer is also very reminiscent of Kojima Productions’ famous horror demo. Luto is currently slated to release for PS4, PS5 and PC later this year. Realm Cards are crafted using magical materials found in the environment and contain modifiers. These determine the kinds of environments you’ll explore, the types of creatures present, weather patterns, how abundant a certain resource is, and so on. Multiple cards can also be combined, leading to a mix of different conditions for a new realm.

Flynn hopes this provides a near-limitless amount of possibilities when exploring the Fae Realms. Nightingale is in development for PC and launches in Q4 2022 for early access on Steam and the Epic Games Store. Inflexion plans to have several biome types, a “large variety of creatures” to hunt, building and crafting, a progression system, and solo and online co-op at the start.

GamesRadar has announced that its annual summer event, the Future Games Show, will happen on June 11, at 12PM PST / 3PM EDT / 8PM BST. It will be a 60-minute long show with “new trailers, world premieres, and surprises.” While details on what games will be present are currently unknown, it’s been confirmed that the likes of Thunderful, Team 17, and Amanita Design will have some things to show off.

“Expect world premieres, developer interviews and exclusive announcements as we highlight some of the most exciting games coming this year for PS5, Xbox Series X, Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC,” GamesRadar writes.
