Nightingale Gameplay Trailer Reveals New Realm Cards Mechanic

Upcoming rafting survival title Nightingale's fantastical world and varied gameplay are also showcased in its newest trailer.

Inflexion Games’ fantasy crafting survival open world title Nightingale was unveiled at The Game Awards in December last year, and the game once again made an appearance at a Geoff Keighley production, taking the stage at Summer Game Fest Kickoff Live with a new gameplay trailer.

The big new mechanics revealed in the new trailer is Realm Cards, which will introduce plenty of dynamism and variety to the experience. Players will craft and use various Realm Cards throughout the experience, with each of them dictating which realm you’re visiting.

Meanwhile, there’s plenty of typical survival stuff going on as well- collecting resources, crafting items and equipment, building bases, hunting wildlife, and more. Nightingale’s fantastical world and the creatures inhabiting are also looking promising. Check it all out in the trailer below.

Nightingale is in development for PC. It doesn’t currently have a launch date or window.
