Starting April 5, PS Plus subscribers can claim Sumo Digital’s PvPvE heist game Hood: Outlaws and Legends, MegaCrit’s seminal roguelike deck builder Slay the Spire, and Purple Lamp Studios’ acclaimed remake SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Biki Bottom – Rehydrated. Those are pretty solid offerings – Slay the Spire in particular is excellent, while SpongeBob has its own fair share of fans – so subscribers have some good games to claim in the coming days.

That means you have until March 4 to claim the previous month’s PS Plus offerings, which are Ark: Survival Evolved, Team Sonic Racing, Ghostrunner, and Ghost of Tsushima: Legends.

The user claims that the three games that are going to be offered to the PlayStation Plus subscribers in April will be Focus Entertainment’s Hood: Outlaws and Legends for PlayStation 5 andPlayStation 4, THQ Nordic’s Spongebob Squarepants: Battle For Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated for PlayStation 4, and Mega Crit Games’ Slay the Spire for PlayStation 4.

Ever since PlayStation 5 launched, Sony has been offering a total of three games with PlayStation Plus each month, with at least one being a native PS5 title.

There isn’t much time left until Sony officially announces the April lineup, so we’ll have more concrete details very soon. Stay tuned.

Recently, Sony also confirmed the Project Spartacus rumours, announcing a revamped PlayStation Plus that will launch in June this year with a collection of hundreds of games offered across three different subscription tiers.

Last week, The Last of Us Part 2 debuted on top of UK charts for boxed video game sales in pole position, enjoying the biggest launch ever for any PS4 exclusive in the region. Though it has seen an 80 per cent drop in physical sales this week, it manages to hold on to its position (via GamesIndustry). Considering its sales of 4 million units worldwide in its first three days, such a drop is understandable.

What’s surprising is seeing Bravely Second: End Layer – the Square Enix RPG that launched on the 3DS all the way back in 2016 – re-enter the charts and slot right in at second place. Thanks to heavy discounts on the game at UK retailer Argos, Bravely Second sold thrice as many physical copies last week as it did at launch. It’s all-time physical sales have nearly doubled.

In third place is a new release, with THQ Nordic and Purple Lamp Studios’ remake, SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated. Meanwhile, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which dropped out of the top 10 for the first time last weeks, re-enters in fifth place.
