Sony have provided updated release dates for two of their biggest upcoming PS4 releases, Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Part 2 and Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Tsushima, both of which are going to be out in the coming few months.
The Last of Us Part 2, which was originally due out in May, was recently delayed indefinitely due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with Sony and Naughty Dog citing “logistic issues.” The action-adventure title now has new release date of June 19, which is three weeks from when it was going to launch before its delay. Major spoilers for the game are currently doing the rounds on the internet, so beware of those until June.
Meanwhile, Ghost of Tsushima also sees a short delay of less than a month. Originally due out on June 26, the open world title will now be releasing for the PS4 on July 17.
There’s no word on Marvel’s Iron Man VR, which was also delayed from its previous May launch alongside The Last of Us Part 2.
