Ghost of Tsushima

Sony has dropped a brand new trailer for Ghost of Tsushima, the gorgeous new action adventure title from Sucker Punch Productions. A release date has also been announced: June 26th, which fits very well with the previously stated Summer 2020 window. Check out the trailer below.

The story sees Jin Sakai, a trained samurai becoming a ruthless warrior after the Mongols invade the island of Tsushima in 1274. Sakai uses stealth, a bow and arrows, and various other tools to take down foes. However, he’s also extremely adept at cutting them down, whether it’s in battles against groups or in 1v1 duels.

What makes the story so compelling is that added risk of Sakai being tainted by all the killing he’s wrought. How this will pan out remains to be seen but the development team continues to deliver in terms of production value and aesthetics. Ghost of Tsushima releases exclusively for PS4 and is available to pre-order. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
