The Last of Us Part 2 Will Require 100 GB of Free Space and Ship on Two Discs

It's certainly promising to live up to the "Naughty Dog's biggest game ever" description.

Naughty Dog have claimed in the build up to The Last of Us Part 2’s launch that it’s going to be the biggest, most ambitious game they’ve ever made, and the game’s file size certainly seems to be reflecting that.

As per details mentioned on the game’s main page on the official PlayStation website – where it is now available for pre-order once more – Naughty Dog’s upcoming action adventure behemoth will require a minimum of 100 GB of free space on your system’s storage. Meanwhile, its physical release will of course be similarly massive, coming on two Blu-ray discs. Take a look at the image below.

The last month has been an absolute rollercoaster for The Last of Us Part 2 and those looking forward to it. After being delayed indefinitely from its previous May launch due to logistic issues arising because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the game’s story got leaked in its entirety. Shortly afterward, Sony announced new release date for the game, while Naughty Dog have warned fans to beware of the aforementioned spoilers floating around online.

The Last of Us Part 2 will be out exclusively for the PS4 on June 19.
