Well, let’s just go ahead and say it: The Last of Us Part 2 is pretty much completely out there. The game’s entire plot, including the ending, has leaked online (you can read more about that through here). It goes without saying that many are unhappy with how things have transpired, and that obviously includes Naughty Dog.
On the official Naughty Dog Twitter account, the studio recently addressed the whole ordeal. In a nutshell, they say they are disappointed the plot of the game has leaked. There’s not much else here, because what else is there to really say about it? They do implore people not to share spoilers, and promise that the wait will be worth it even if you have been spoiled.
It was recently announced that we finally have a solid release date for The Last of Us Part 2, which is June 19th of this year. This comes after an indefinite delay from a May release date.
