The Outer Worlds Switch Version Gets First Screenshots

Our first look at the port is a bit blurry.

The Outer Worlds was a fun romp last year, a game that was a much needed throwback to some old school RPGs. It was mostly well received and sold well, meaning developer Obsidian Entertainment probably has a franchise on their hands. It’s also a game you’re about to able to take on the go here in month’s time with a Switch port. While there’s been little footage of said port, we did get some screens today.

Nintendo UK posted three screenshots from the Switch version of the game, which you can see below. It’s not clear if this is captured in console or handheld mode. It looks decent, but there’s definitely some blurriness and washed colors, but it’ll be hard to tell without the game being in motion what the final product will look like. Fingers crossed it’ll run well.

The Outer Worlds is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC with the Switch version slated to hit March 6th. The game is also still scheduled to get DLC sometime this year.
