After being exclusive to the Epic Games Store on PC for year, Giant Squid’s The Pathless is finally coming to Steam on November 16th. To celebrate the occasion, Annapurna Interactive has a short new trailer available, showcasing the game in action. Check it out below.
The Pathless sees the world in danger due to a curse. As a sole Hunter, the player ventures to the source of the curse – an island home to god-spirits known as the Tall Ones, who have each become corrupted due to the Godslayer. With the help of an eagle companion, The Hunter resolves to cleanse the Tall Ones and defeat the Godslayer.
Movement is key in The Pathless as the player must time their bow shots to build up enough speed to dash through environments (and take on massive bosses). Of course, there are also different ruins to explore and puzzles to solve along with sneaking past and fighting cursed spirits. The Pathless is also available on PS4, PS5 and iOS.
