The Witcher 3 Is Roughly 32 GB On Switch, Won’t Support Cross-Saves

One of the heaviest Switch games to date.

Impossibly enough, The Witcher 3 is coming to the Nintendo Switch. One of the best looking and demanding games of this generation is coming to system that is significantly less powerful than the consoles it originally launched for. We have a rough idea so far of how it’s doing that – with noticeably lower resolution – and now we have a few more details.

Taking to Twitter, The Witcher’s official page confirmed that on the Switch, the game will be roughly 32 GB. By Switch standards, that’s a pretty hefty size, especially when you consider that the game’s physical release will ship on 32 GB cartridges, which is something you see very rarely on the Switch. Meanwhile, the account also confirmed in a different tweet that the game won’t support cross-saves with any of the other versions of the title.

The Witcher 3 releases some time this year for the Nintendo Switch, though an exact launch date hasn’t yet been announced. When it does, it will release will all content released for the game so far, including the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions.
