The rumours and leaks were right after all. The Witcher 3 is coming to the Nintendo Switch. During their E3 2019 Direct presentation, Nintendo confirmed that CD Projekt RED’s open world behemoth RPG will be coming to their system.

The trailer shown off showed gameplay on the Switch, and while it looks good enough, it remains to be seen how the game will actually run on the system. The Witcher 3 will be launching on the Switch as a Complete Edition, which means it’ll be shipping with both the game’s sizeable expansions- Blood and Wine and Hears of StoneThat’s over a hundred hours of excellent open world narrative focused content, so it sounds like a great deal.

No specific release date was given for the port’s launch, but we do know it’s out on the Switch some time this year. We’ll be hearing more about it in the coming months. Stay tuned to GamingBolt as Nintendo’s E3 Direct presentation continues.
