The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s Upcoming Patch 1.08 Changelog Is Revealed

The last patch came just a few weeks ago.

While the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt just got a patch on July 20, CD Projekt RED has released a changelog for a brand new patch, officially dubbed 1.08. The developers have said that this new patch is going to have a number of performance improvements, and will fix various gameplay, graphical and quest issues/bugs. It doesn’t appear as though this particular patch is going to be bringing a ton of new content but considering how much content is already in the game, polishing some things will be plenty cool.

One of the things that is really interesting is that the developers apparently think that there were some issues that were specifically caused by patch 1.07. Part of the change log does specifically state that patch 1.08 is going to fix a couple of problems that might have been caused by the previous patch. When it comes to  gameplay fixes, it appears that the patch is going to be bringing some more effects that will add realism. One tweak in particular is that when you cut an enemy’s head off, that particular head will no longer disappear. That might seem a bit gruesome but it also seems pretty darn neat that CD Projekt RED is going this far to make the game realistic.

When it comes to the fixes that are coming for the quests the patch is also going to fix it so players can actually finish the “It Takes Three to Tango” quest. The rest of what Patch 1.08 is going to fix is listed in the official forums. The patch is coming soon but there isn’t an official date.
