Thief Launch Trailer Arrives Rather Un-stealthily

To thief or not to thief?

Eidos Montreal’s Thief will be arriving next week for both current and next gen consoles, and Square Enix has released a launch trailer to commemorate the same. Check it out above.

Thief will be a reboot of sorts but still continue the mythos from previous games. Master thief Garrett has returned to The City only to find a plague-infested place ruled with an iron fist. Regardless, he resumes his thieving ways even as he inches ever closer to conflict with the big baddies that run things.

Several new mechanics will be seen in Thief, including the new Focus ability which allows you to see important objects along with fighting off foes in slow motion. At least the rope arrows return. You can never have enough rope arrows.

Thief will be out for PC, PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on February 25th in North America and February 28th in Europe. Stay tuned for our official review when it arrives.
