As with any loot-focused title, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands has a number of Legendaries for the player to acquire. To say that a majority of them are underwhelming would be an unfortunate understatement. Nevertheless, you can still find some great weapons and items that will make builds even more fun.
The first thing to note is the presence of Lucky Dice. There are about 260 to find and each will increase your chances of finding better loot. It doesn’t mean you’re guaranteed the best loot all of the time but it does skew things slightly in your favor. You should also collect all pieces for the Shrine of Aaron G since it provides a permanent 10 percent increase to Loot Luck. Head here for the locations of both.
Without further ado, let’s look at the best Legendaries in the game and how to get them:
- Liquid Cooling – Fires frost ammo which can slow enemies and eventually freeze them, which triples the damage they receive from melee attacks. Also deals additional melee damage and can be fired until it overheats. However, if you score critical hits, then the weapon will immediately cooldown. This means you can keep firing as long as you land crits. Though best suited for the Stabbomancer and Brr-zerker, Liquid Cooling is just a great weapon overall to have. It drops from the Ancient Obelisk boss Lissa in Crackmast Cove (near the Salty Saunter). Can also be obtained as a world drop.
- Masterwork Handbow – A sidearm that fires a single bolt at a time. However, when scoring a critical hit, it spawns six arrows that ricochet to the nearest enemy. Critical hits also automatically reload the weapon and this is on top of dealing immense critical damage. If you’re dealing with tons of mobs, then it’s perfect for cutting them down to size without having to reload. Just make sure your aim is true. Along with being a world drop, it can be farmed from the dungeon located to the east of the Shrine of Grindanna by defeating Captain Swallow. You can also spend crystals at the pistol bunny in the Chaos Chamber to get one.
- Goblin Pickaxe – A Legendary melee weapon that spawns Gold after hitting an enemy. It’s a novelty, sure, but still incredibly useful whenever you’re low on Gold. It can be obtained from the Ancient Obelisk in Mount Craw near the Furious Gorge. Defeat the boss Pigwart enough times and it should drop.
- Reign of Arrows of Striking – This Legendary Shotgun fires its entire magazine in one pull, thus dealing an immense amount of damage. What makes this so good is that it fires arrows in a small circle around a target. While it takes some time to get used to, the damage output is incredibly potent. You can get it from the Chaos Chamber by donating crystals to the shotgun bunny at the end.
How to Get All Runes and Unlock Secret Bosses
Runes are a key part of the game and even more so in the end-game. In the Chaos Chamber, there are three Runes that activate different puzzles, leading to three secret bosses. First, select the Featured Run when playing through the Chaos Chamber – though you can find each Rune in a normal randomized Run, it’s easier to locate them this way.
The first Rune, the Yellow Rune, should appear just opposite of the Dragon Lord once you’ve finished the first encounter. Activate it and you can see it traveling across the room to a corner until a glowing rock is in place. Shoot the rock and enter the red Portal at the end to face off against Bunnidhogg, Keeper of the Sands.
The second Rune, the Green Rune, will appear in the seventh encounter of the Featured Run. Look towards a wall to your left while facing the D20 at the end. Activate it and will spawn a mushroom. Jump on this to launch three spores into the sky – these glow purple in a sequence and must be shot in that order. Repeat this process several times and then enter the red Portal to face Barkenstein, Keeper of Nature.
The third Rune, the Blue Rune, can appear next to the wall of the Portal to exit a room. Upon activating it, two portals will be created – one with ice-covered ground and the other with a water sphere. It also creates three smaller floating blue spheres. Stand in the icy portal until one of the small spheres starts to move, then lead it to the water sphere portal. Make sure that nothing impedes its path en route. Once this is done, the puzzle is complete and you can take the red portal at the end of the run to fight Gloopathoth, Keeper of the Abyss.
Once you’ve defeated all threes bosses in a Chaos Chamber run, you’ll face off against the final secret boss – The Maker or Tiny Tina herself. Each boss drops unique loot so it’s definitely worthwhile to farm them. For more tips of beating each, along with The Maker, check out the guides below by EpicNNG.
