Well, that’s surprising, not a single Wii U software has failed to top the UK charts for this week or even place in the top 10, but it only came out at the end of the week on November 30 though. Still, considering it’s a new next generation hardware, it’s a bit surprising.
Nintendo Land was the game that placed at 11th spot showing it’s the title that will eventually go on to sell millions. It comes bundled with the Wii U hardware so that’s not surprising really. I’m not really making a big deal out of this as we could still see a lot of improvement next week, where the console and its launch games get more time on the market.
Furthermore, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has taken the pole position in the charts followed by a phenomenal Far Cry 3. Ideally, I would have expected Ubisoft’s game to do well and take the top position but as they say it’s the Call of Duty effect.
