Warframe: The Duviri Paradox Delayed to 2023, Lua’s Prey Coming This Winter

The "light prequel" update will add two new Survival missions that grant Necramech components and a new wolf-inspired Warframe, Voruna.

Previously set to launch this Winter, Warframe’s next expansion, The Duviri Paradox, has been delayed to 2023. In the meantime, fans can partake in Lua’s Prey, a “light prequel” to the expansion that goes live this Winter for all platforms.

It adds two new Survival missions with Necramech components, new Void Shell and Deluxe skins, and a new Warframe named Voruna. Part of a collaboration with Airship Syndicate’s Joe Mad, Voruna is a wolf-like frame described as “a relentless hunter of god-prey and shadow of the night.” Like previous frames, she can either be unlocked through Platinum or by farming her respective components and blueprint.

In terms of new cosmetics, there’s a new Lotus skin; Void Shell skins will be available for Grendel, Mag and Frost; and a new Deluxe skin for the Xaku. Stay tuned for more details on Lua’s Prey, including a release date announcement, in the coming weeks.

Warframe is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
