Xbox Series X/S Retail Box Art Design Has Seemingly Been Updated

Newly updated box arts on the Best Buy website for Halo Infinite, Microsoft Flight Simulator, and Forza Horizon 5 suggest a new design for Xbox retail boxes.

It seems Microsoft has quietly updated the box art designs for physical releases of games on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. As spotted by a user on Reddit, newly released Xbox box arts for Microsoft Flight Simulator and Forza Horizon 5, as well as the updated box art for Halo Infinite, show a new design.

It’s a much cleaner look, and obstructs the actual art much less than it used to in the old design, while the green edges have also been minimized, which lets the art itself pop that much more. Of course, Microsoft is yet to officially confirm any such change, but the game pages for Forza Horizon 5, Halo Infiniteand Microsoft Flight Simulator on the Best Buy website do show these new boxes, for what it’s worth.

As for these games themselves, Microsoft Flight Simulator launches on July 27, Forza Horizon 5 launches on November 9, and Halo Infinite has an unspecified Holiday 2021 launch window.
