Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Has Crossed $1 Billion in Revenue

The open world action RPG is the first title in the series to achieve this milestone. Its next expansion, Dawn of Ragnarok, is out on March 10th.

Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, which launched in November 2020 for previous and current-gen platforms, continues to bring in revenue for the publisher. In a recent earnings call to investors (via Axios), CEO Yves Guillemot confirmed that the title’s revenue had surpassed $1 billion as of December 2021. This makes it the first title in the series to achieve that milestone.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has achieved other significant milestones since release, including the highest first week launch sales and biggest launch in the series’ history. It’s received several free updates and paid expansions since launch like Wrath of the Druids and The Siege of Paris. A third expansion, Dawn of Ragnarok, will be releasing next month for $40.

Promising over 35 hours of gameplay, it provides new abilities, new loot and weapons, the new Valkyrie Trials and much more for players to dive into. Dawn of Ragnarok releases on March 10th for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC and Google Stadia. Until then, new title update goes live tomorrow while a free weekend for the game kicks off on February 24th.
