Even as Ubisoft worked on Assassin’s Creed Infinity, its live service platform for future experiences in the franchise, it continues to support Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The Siege of Paris expansion launched last month and tomorrow will see the release of Title Update 1.3.1 along with River Raids Map Pack #2. The exact contents of both has yet to be revealed, though it seems a new armor set is inbound at the very least.
In Fall, Title Update 1.3.2 will go live and it seems to add a new limited-time festival for players to partake in and earn rewards from. Discovery Tour: Viking Age also releases in the same period, free for all owners of the base game. Much like previous Discovery Tours, it should allow players to explore the world of Valhalla from the perspective of a virtual tourist, learning more about its history without indulging in combat.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is currently available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC and Google Stadia. It will continue to receive updates and expansions for the next year or so. As for Assassin’s Creed Infinity, it’s still ways off, reportedly launching in 2024.
