Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is an absolutely massive game, but we’re never going to say no to more of it. Having recently seen the release of the Wrath of the Druids expansion, there’s still plenty more to come for the game. At their Ubisoft Forward E3 2021 showcase, Ubisoft provided details on what to expect.
Up first, of course, is The Siege of Paris, the game’s second major paid expansion, which will see Eivor travelling to, well, Paris. It’ll also be adding Infiltration missions, new weapons, skills, gear, and much more. The expansion is due out this Summer.
Meanwhile, Discovery Tour mode, a fan-favourite exploration-focused combat-free mode from Origins and Odyssey, is coming to Valhalla as well, with Ubisoft confirming that the mode will be arriving as a free update for all owners of the game.
The big news, however, is that unlike past Assassin’s Creed games, Valhalla is going to receive extended support well into its second year as well. Ubisoft has confirmed that the game will continue to receive more updates, new content, and even new expansions in 2022. Details on that are currently scant, but we definitely know Valhalla is going to stick around for a while- which probably means there won’t be a new Assassin’s Creed game in 2022.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia.
