Battlefield 2042’s open beta concluded pretty recently, and reception for the game’s early tests has largely been divisive. If you’d like another shot at the game or want to try it for the first time though, EA Play subscribers (which, by extension, includes Xbox Game Pass subscribers can do so from November 12th, as revealed in an EA Help page for the game.
Xbox Game Pass subscribers get access to an EA Play membership, which allows for 10-hour trials of select game releases from the publisher. Battlefield 2042 is arguably the biggest EA game this year, so it’s rather interesting that fans are getting a meaty trial for the game without any additional cost.
Battlefield 2042 releases on November 19th for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. DICE has recently confirmed that many franchise features missing from the beta are already added in the final release, while pre-launch trailers have also revealed information about the game’s many maps and multiplayer modes, alongside its specialists.
