Battlefield 2042

DICE’s Battlefield 2042 has received a new trailer, showcasing the remaining five Specialists that will be available at launch. The first is Emma “Sundance” Rosier, an Assault type who can use a wingsuit and is equipped with Smart Explosives which have different functions like EMP, anti-armor and Scatter. Check it out below.

Next Santiago “Dozer” Espinoza, another Assault Specialist who uses a ballistic shield to block damage from the front and is also quicker to recover from explosive damage. Ji-Soo Paik is a Recon Specialist with a scanner that highlights foes through walls – her passive highlights enemies that have shot at her. Navin Rao is another Recon expert who can “hack” enemies – killing a hacked target will reveal nearby foes. Objects like pylons and enemy equipment can also be hacked.

Finally, there’s Constantin “Angel” Anghel, a Support Specialist who can call in a special crate that allows for switching loadouts. His passive also allows him to revive teammates faster and restoring some of their armor in the process. Battlefield 2042 is out on November 19th for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC. There will be 10 Specialists available at launch – check out some of the others here.
