Third party support for the Nintendo Switch has been largely impressive – at least as compared to recent years in Nintendo history anyway – and the publisher that’s been perhaps the best example of that solid third party support is Bethesda. With the likes of Skyrim, DOOM, Wolfenstein 2, and more recently, The Elder Scrolls: Blades, all having been released for the system, and major upcoming releases like Wolfenstein: Youngblood and DOOM Eternal also launching on the hybrid console day and date, it’s clear that Bethesda obviously sees plenty of value in the Switch.
But Bethesda, it seems, might have even more announcements coming up for Nintendo’s system. Recently, while speaking in the Nintendo Power podcast, Bethesda’s VP of PR and marketing Pete Hines had this to say while speaking of the company’s future plans: “Who knows, maybe some more surprises for Nintendo fans on the way.”
Bethesda have hinted earlier at the possibility of having RAGE 2 on Switch, while the likes of Dishonored and Prey have also been missing from the system’s library. Let’s hope that changes soon. You can hear Hines’ words for yourself in the video below. It’s timestamped, so just hit play.
