Capcom Showcase Announced for June 12th

The showcase airs at 3 PM PDT on Monday as part of Summer Game Fest. Its duration and appearing games have yet to be confirmed.

The Summer Game Fest Showcase is the first major event to kick off this month’s pseudo-E3, with over 40 partners confirmed. That includes Capcom, and as part of Summer Game Fest, it will host a Capcom Showcase on June 12th at 3 PM PDT.

The timing of this announcement is interesting since the publisher is hosting the final Digital Event for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak on June 7th. A potential reveal of the next Monster Hunter at the showcase, perhaps? Regardless if that happens, we’ll likely see other titles like Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, Dragon’s Dogma 2 and the mysterious Pragmata (still slated for this year).

Capcom may even sneak in an announcement for Resident Evil 4 Remake’s Separate Ways. The side story is rumored to be more extensive than its original incarnation and releasing as separate paid DLC later this year, with a dataminer discovering references to the same in-game. Of course, it’s possible that we only get a tease since Resident Evil 4 Remake’s VR Mode isn’t out yet.

Summer Game Fest starts on June 8th at noon PT with a two-hour-long showcase, so stay tuned for more news in the coming days.
