CD Projekt RED’s first and only paid expansion for Cyberpunk 2077, Phantom Liberty, is out next week. On Twitter, the global release timings have been revealed, with PC players gaining access on September 25th at 4 PM PDT, while console players can start on September 26th at midnight PDT.
Midnight local time applies for console players worldwide, but the good news is that preloading will be available 48 hours before release on all platforms in each region. Those in Los Angeles can preload on September 23rd, 4 PM PDT on PC, and September 24th, midnight for consoles.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will release for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. It’s preceded by Update 2.0 on September 21st, which revamps Perks for new options like finishers and adds vehicular combat. The police system is also overhauled, with new Heat system that players can build up to face greater threats (including a mini-boss in MaxTac).
