Dead Island 2 Extended Gameplay Coming March 2nd

The gameplay follows Dani through locations like Beverly Hills and Bel-Air, as she tests weapons and skills against the zombie hordes.

Following the reveal of the final playable Slayer, Dambuster Studios’ Dead Island 2 is getting a new extended gameplay trailer on March 2nd at 7 AM PST. It follows Dani, as she ventures through Beverly Hills and Bel-Air, trying out new weapons and skills on the undead.

Set several months after the first game and Riptide, Dead Island 2 sees Los Angeles under lockdown after a more potent zombie outbreak. As one of six playable Slayers, you need to survive. In addition to weapons and skills, with a new Skill Deck allowing for extensive customization, there’s also Fury Mode for tearing the undead apart with your bare hands.

The FLESH System makes for procedural gore, so you can slice, dice, shred and smash zombies in realistic ways. Head here for more details. Dead Island 2 launches for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC on April 21st, having gone gold earlier this month. Check out the last major gameplay reveal here.
