Deep Silver has announce that a sequel to Dead Island is in the works. The game is in full development at Techland and will receive a full reveal later this Summer. It’s coming out on consoles and the PC. What consoles exactly? Not specified.
Dead Island came out last year and was met with decent reception by one and all. We gave it an 8/10 in our review and called it “one of the biggest, bloodiest and most involving games ever to star the undead”.
It also performed well commercially. Obviously, Deep Silver will be looking to capitalize this IP. Hopefully, Riptide won’t have the flaws that the original game did.
