Deathloop Has Gone Gold

The stylish FPS releases on September 14th for PC and PS5. It sees hitman Colt attempting to assassinate eight targets and escape a time-loop

Following lots of new gameplay and details over the past few weeks, Arkane Lyon announced that Deathloop has finally gone gold. Principle development is finished and the game is now being ready for manufacturing and distribution along with digital certification. Launching for PC and PS5 (as a one year timed exclusive), the story features an assassin named Colt who arrives on Blackreef Isle.

Tasked with taking down The Visionaries before midnight, Colt can utilize a variety of abilities and firearms to take down his foes (along with stealth and cunning). However, the island is trapped in a time-loop and it will keep resetting unless all eight targets are killed. Along the way, Colt has to deal with Agent Julianna who can be controlled by another player or the AI and will either hurt or toy with you.

Deathloop releases on September 14th after several delays. According to director Dinga Bakaba, the title wouldn’t have been possible on previous gen hardware without making sacrifices. For more details based on the most recent gameplay, head here.
