Destiny 2 Hotfix 2.2.0.2 Removes Glass Modifier from Reckoning, Adds More High Power Rewards

You should also see more realistic requirements for Gambit Prime's weekly Collector bounty.

Hotfix 2.2.0.2 is currently live for Bungie’s Destiny 2 and contains fixes, improvements, and other changes for Season of the Drifter. The most important change is the rewards from Challenges in the Director – players can now earn up to 690 Power items by completing dailies and weeklies. You can still expect these to increase your Power post-690, but at a slower rate (+1 Power usually).

Other changes include less requirements for completing the weekly Collector bounty in Gambit Prime and now being able to access the Allegiance quest even if your Pursuits inventory is full. The Glass modifier has also been removing from the daily rotation of modifiers in The Reckoning and replaced with Prism going forward. So if the challenge frustrated you, that’s good news.

You can check out the full patch notes below. Season of the Drifter marks the second “premium” content update release for Destiny 2’s Annual Pass, with third – Season of Opulence – scheduled for Summer. What’s next for Bungie’s franchise after that, especially since its split with Activision? Stay tuned for more details.

Director Challenge Rewards

  • This bounty should now align with requirements for other weekly bounties

  • Removed the Glass Modifier from Daily Reckoning Modifier rotation
  • This has been replaced with the Prism Modifier

  • Fixed an issue where Glory Win Streak Triumphs from previous seasons were updating on wins in Season of the Drifter

Sandbox
