Destiny 2 Season of the Drifter

If you’ve been starving for more content in Bungie’s Destiny 2 and happen to own the Annual Pass, then rejoice. Season of the Drifter is upon us and brings Gambit Prime, new Gambit maps, and new Pinnacle rewards to earn. We’ve already seen the different armour sets for Gambit Prime in a recent trailer. Now Bungie has released a trailer for The Reckoning, a new PvE activity taking place in the Plains of the Nine.

The objective of The Reckoning is to blow through heaps of enemies with different tiers unlocking as the season progresses. Delve deeper into the activity and you’ll be rewarded with better gear. This includes the aforementioned Gambit Prime armour sets, which bestow specific perks depending on your role.

Destiny 2’s Season of the Drifter has also added a bunch of sandbox changes with update 2.2.0. Clan XP is back, One-Eyed Mask has been nerfed, and Heavy Machine Guns have surprisingly been toned down. Check out some of the patch notes here. Don’t worry though – Submachine Guns and Exotics like One Thousand Voices have received some good buffs.
