Bungie didn’t have a whole lot of new information to share in its latest weekly blog post. It’s understandable given that Destiny 2: Shadowkeep is now live and players are grinding through all the quests on offer. The developer did provide an update on the Garden of Salvation raid – it goes live tomorrow at 10 AM PDT.
A new teaser has been released, showcasing the Guardians’ return to the Black Garden which served as arena for the final battle in Destiny 1’s campaign. Will we finally learn what the Heart of Darkness is/was? How will Shadowkeep’s story tie in with the raid? One thing is for sure – despite what the trailer seemingly showcased, Jotunn will be disabled.
Time will tell but tomorrow also marks the start of the race for World First. The team that completes the raid first will receive a championship belt. Any team that finishes it within the first 24 hours receives a special emblem while any completions before October 15th will receive a special Raid Jacket. Stay tuned for an update tomorrow when the raid goes live.
