In a recent tweet, Destiny series developer Bungie has announced that it’s going “digital-first.” This means that most of its current and future roles will be eligible for remote work. Current states that have been approved include Washington, Texas, Illinois, Florida and more.
The company’s Careers page reveals that some roles – like Incubation Contract Level Designer – are also remote from any location in the United States. As such, there are dozens of different openings available including QA Engineer (SDET) and Gameplay Engineering Lead on an unannounced project.
While this may be for the new third-person action title which its also hiring Creative Director for, these positions could also apply to the studio’s upcoming “multiplayer action game.” In the meantime, it continues to release updates and content for Destiny 2. The Witch Queen expansion launched in February and added several new activities and features like weapon crafting (though a revamp is due in the coming months).
