The Destiny 2 developer is currently hiring for a creative director on its upcoming game, as posted in the Careers section of the official studio website. The job description states that the new game will be an action game played in the 3rd person perspective.

As the creative director, the hired personnel will be driving the creative vision of the project through multiple stages of prototyping and continuously iterate on it to develop a finished product. A point worth noting is that Bungie has separate roles for a Game Director and a Creative Director. Additionally, other vacancies for an environment artist and a level designer may or may not be related to this project.

Bungie has previously stated that it wants to bring a new IP to the market by 2025, so fans can assume that to be a very vague release window for this new project. Sony has now acquired Bungie for a sum of $3.6 billion- read more on that through here.
