At the Xbox and Bethesda E3 2021 Showcase, Blizzard Entertainment confirmed that Diablo 2: Resurrected, the remastered and updated version of the beloved action RPG, is launching on September 23. A specific release date was previously unconfirmed. The new trailer also shows off some new gameplay, and it continues to look slick in all the right ways. Check it out below.

Diablo 2: Resurrected is also confirmed to be getting two alpha tests, one of which happened in April. A date for the second one is yet to be set. Meanwhile, it’s been confirmed that saves from the original Diablo 2 can be used for the upcoming remaster as well, while those who were burned by Warcraft 3: Reforged can also relax, because Diablo 2: Resurrected isn’t going to replace the original game in any way.

Diablo 2: Resurrected is out on September 23 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Check out its PC requirements through here.
