Dragon Age: Inquisition Will Feature Kinect Voice Commands

Creative director Mike Laidlaw is expecting such a feature like with Mass Effect 3.

Bioware creative direcotr Mike Laidlaw, who is working on the upcoming Dragon Age: Inquisition, has confirmed to OXM that the cross-generational RPG will support Kinect voice commands when it ships later this year.

“We’re expecting that Xbox 360 and Xbox One editions will ship with a Kinect-enabled voice command feature, just like Mass Effect 3 did.”

Of course we expect Bioware to expand on and improve those voice command options significantly since Mass Effect 3’s selection was far from the most accurate.

Dragon Age: Inquisition will be the third game in Bioware’s vaunted RPG series and will see you leading an Inquisition to prevent the end of the world. If that weren’t enough, Dragon Age: Origins ally Morrigan has returned for some nefarious purpose or the other.

Releasing on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC, Dragon Age: Inquisition will be out in Autumn 2014. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
