Fallout 76 Live Events Will Begin in Early 2019

Bethesda plans to release a "variety of in-game events" throughout a week.

Bethesda has announced that live in-game events are coming to Fallout 76, its much-maligned multiplayer spin-off set 20 years after the fateful nuclear apocalypse that acts as the backdrop for the entire series. There aren’t any more details beyond that, unfortunately. However, it seems that there will be a “variety of in-game events” taking place throughout a week.

“We are excited to announce that, starting in early 2019, we plan to release a variety of in-game events that will take place over the course of a week. These events will be different every time, and will often provide a small buff or create an interesting twist on normal gameplay,” said Bethesda. The “small buff” is the interesting part, though what kind of rewards will be offered is still up in the air.

For now, Bethesda has deployed its latest update for the game on all platforms. It’s increased the stash limit, made numerous improvements to the C.A.M.P. system, and (hopefully) fixed number of bugs. Bethesda has also been making good with Power Armor Edition owners by offering replacement canvas bags after many found their West Tek merchandise to be made of nylon instead of the originally advertised canvas material.

Another update will be coming to Fallout 76 next week, and includes SPECIAL Respec, push-to-talk for PC users, and the Bulldozer for removing small obstructions when setting up one’s C.A.M.P.
