Fallout 76 is a huge, open world RPG with lots of cogs moving together at any given time, so you’d expect it to weigh a pretty hefty amount in terms of how much of your system’s storage it will take up. And it seems like it’s going to live up to those expectations.
The upcoming shared world RPG’s Microsoft Store page lists the game’s approximate size as 45.28 GB, which seems par for the course for a Bethesda game. It’s unknown whether the number mentioned is the game’s install size or its download size, since consoles often require more space to install games than they do to download them. Either way, though, the final figure will probably end up in that ballpark.
Fallout 76 has been getting a lot of new info lately, thanks to recent round of hands-on previews, which even produced a solid two hours of gameplay footage from the game. You can watch that through here. Meanwhile, additional stress tests for the game are also on their way, while it will be going into beta at the end of this month.
Its full launch comes on November 14, for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
