Forza Horizon 5 Multiplayer Fixes Are in the Works, Playground Games Promises

The dev is also giving out 1000 free Forzathon points to all players in response to numerous multiplayer connectivity issues.

Playground Games’ Forza Horizon 5 has been met with a ton of praise on launch, although many fans have been experiencing some persistent problems with the game’s multiplayer component.

There have been reports of issues in forming Convoys with friends, Horizon Arcade events disappearing, and problems with The Eliminator mode, as revealed in an official blog post. There are also some issues with the leaderboards, matchmaking issues in Horizon Open, and also reports of lost progress in the EventLab mode.

The developer’s next content update aims to fix this list of known issues, although there’s no mention of any date for when the fixes will go live. For the time being, however, Playground has given out a token of apology for the inconvenience caused, with all players receiving a total of 1000 Forzathon points that you are, of course, free to spend in any way you deem fit.

Forza Horizon 5 has been a smash hit for Xbox already, with the game surpassing total of 10 million players in just a few days after launch. Click here to read our review for the game, and click here to see why we think Forza Horizon 5 is the most addictive game of 2021.
