Steam’s Weekly Global Top Sellers list is constantly in flux, but a few names usually stay in the top ten. These include titles like Apex Legends, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Red Dead Redemption 2 and more. However, the week ending January 29th saw several major releases with strong debuts, including Motive Studio’s Dead Space remake.
According to SteamDB, Dead Space debuted in third place, while its Deluxe Edition was in sixth. Since Dead Space 2 is free for those who pre-purchase the remake, it charted in fourth place. Perhaps more surprising is that Hi-Fi Rush debuted in eighth place. It dropped suddenly during the Xbox and Bethesda Developer_Direct but is also available on Game Pass, so this is good news for Tango Gameworks.
Unfortunately, Square Enix’s Forspoken is nowhere to be seen. On the current Global Top Sellers list on Steam, it ranks in 92nd place. Considering the high requirements and middling critical reception before release, it’s somewhat understandable. Stay tuned for more details on its physical sales in the coming weeks.
