The upcoming Soulslike action RPG's demo also saw a peak of 170,000 viewers on Twitch, Neowiz has confirmed.

Neowiz has announced that since the launch of the free demo for upcoming Soulslike action RPG Lies of P, it has been downloaded a million times. The studio made the announcement over Twitter, and also revealed that the game’s demo saw a peak of 170,000 viewers on Twitch, and was featured on the top 3 list of Twitter trends worldwide.

Lies of P has seen quite a few trailers since its original announcement, with a recent trailer earlier this month revealing the game’s September 19 release date. Its trailers have also revealed that the game takes quite bit of inspiration from games like Bloodborne in its gothic adaptation of the setting and story of Pinocchio.

More recently, Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja announced a collaboration with Lies of P for Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. While the exact nature of this collaboration is currently unknown, the companies have indicated that the crossover will take place in both games, and might end up being weapons and gear inspired by each other.

Lies of P is coming to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The game’s free demo will be available on Steam until June 27.
