Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name Gameplay Debuts, Out on November 9th

Kazuma Kiryu's Agent Style and a new antagonist are showcased, with pre-orders gaining access to the Legendary Fighter Pack.

After details and its release date leaked via the PlayStation Store, RGG Studio’s Like Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name received a new gameplay trailer at the Summer Game Fest Showcase. It sees Kazuma Kiryu, operating under the codename “Joryu,” as he fights a mysterious figure. The action-adventure title is out on November 9th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC.

The gameplay showcases the new Agent Style, with Kiryu using wires to attack enemies. He can also use them to grapple objects in the environment and use them as melee weapons. Along with Sotenbori and Yokohama, we also see the strange new Castle, with its over-the-top aesthetic.

Though it wasn’t showcased, there is offline multiplayer for two players. Stay tuned for more details on the same. Pre-orders for Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name nets the Legendary Fighter Pack, which includes legendary fighters like Majima Goro and Taiga Saejima, though it’s unknown if they’re playable.
