Twitch streamer Frank Ellerbe—going by Techniq on Twitch—may have accidentally confirmed She-Hulk as a playable character coming to Marvel’s Avengers. Ellerbe made the accidental announcement on the official Xbox Twitch channel.
Under the assumption that She-Hulk had already been officiall announced as the next character coming to Marvel’s Avengers, Ellerbe spoke to Crystal Dynamics lead designer Brian Waggoner about his acting coach being the voice actor for She-Hulk in the game.
“We’re working on our next hero,” responded Waggoner. “We haven’t said who it’s going to be yet. There will be a time for that. We’re focused right now on celebrating the work the team did on Jane.”
“When it’s time to talk about who’s next, we’ll talk about who’s next,” said Waggoner.
Rumours about She-Hulk coming to Marvel’s Avengers have been going around since at least January, when a known leaker stated that She-Hulk would be added to the game, and played by Krizia Bajos.
Crystal Dynamics has been supporting Marvel’s Avengers even after Square Enix sold the company. Waggoner has stated that the studio has been working on new characters for the game. She-Hulk is a likely candidate to be Marvel’s Avengers’ next new character considering her upcoming TV show in August.
