Metal Gear Solid 5’s Latest Update Doesn’t Do Much

There's two patch notes- one of them is "Fixed other issues".

Konami has rolled out a new update for its 2015 title, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain on the PS4 (designated version 1.19), with Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Experience also receiving an update on PS4, PC, and Xbox One (via Gearnuke). For game this old, patches are expected to be tiny (or, alternatively, to not exist at all), and though the previous update did at least some significant things, such as adding Quiet to FOB Online, that doesn’t seem to be the case here.

There’s one specific issue that has been mentioned in the patch notes which has now been fixed, and it pertained to using an Energy Wall while the player was equipped with “certain pieces of developed gear.” Other than that, the update fixes “other issues”. And that’s pretty much it.

In related Metal Gear news, recent speculation about forthcoming announcement hasn’t really amounted to much, but voice actors David Hayter (Solid Snake) and Robin Atkin Downes (Kaz Miller) are hoping there will be some stuff to announce in the future.
