Metro Exodus PC Enhanced Edition Announced, Coming This Spring

DLSS 2.0 and Advanced Ray Traced Reflections will be exclusive to this version.

While Xbox Series X/S and PS5 players can experience Metro Exodus at 4K/60 FPS with ray-tracing later this year, PC players also have plenty to look forward. 4A Games and Deep Silver have announced the Metro Exodus PC Enhanced Edition which also has fully ray-traced lighting. Its features actually go beyond current-gen consoles with Advanced Ray Traced Reflections and DLSS 2.0 support exclusive to the PC Enhanced Edition.

Naturally, you’ll need a GPU that supports ray-tracing at the bare minimum. 4A Games also notes that this is more of a separate version of the game rather than a patch due to the extensive work done. All existing owners on PC will receive it for free on Steam, GOG and the Epic Games Store.

Metro Exodus hits Xbox Series X/S and PS5 later this year but the PC Enhanced Edition is actually coming this Spring. Stay tuned for more details on its release for current-gen consoles. In the meantime, check out our review for the base game here.
